Aparelho is the studio practice of Brazilian designer Felipe Nogueira. Working on a wide range of mediums, his approach to every commission is focused on contemporary language and the pursuit of a meaningful output for each new challenge. He is currently concerned about approximating the thoughtfully considered aesthetics of editorial design with the functional discipline of interactive design.

A generative logo and derivative illustrations and prints combine to form the VISUAL IDENTITY for this collaborative kitchen and bar in Rio's sprawling new gastronomic center, Botafogo. The near-infinite possibilities of the algorithmically generated logo resonate the various activities carried on by it's many inhabitants, from cooks to coworkers who will share the space during the next few years.
